COMSOL 公司於2005年9月6日正式公佈3.2 版COMSOL Multiphysics，新的特点能为整个建模与模拟过程带来更大效率的科学性数值模拟套件。现在软体可以读取所有主要的CAD 模组几何档案。COMSOL Script 为一独立产品，其最大特色为指令列建模。图形化使用者介面支援工程单元系统，移动式网格功能，可允许模拟移动物体及几何参数。
对现今的客户而言,，或许最明显的是产品名称的改变来适当地反映出公司在科学计算上的贡献。公司总裁Svante Littmarck 指出，“我们重新命名我们的主流产品FEMLAB 为COMSOL Multiphysics是因为FEMLAB名称在日本已有註册而且它已经是非常稳定的产品线，虽然我们是从有限元素(FEM)软体开始，但COMSOL 产品现今及计画未来在功能及需求方面将涵盖更多。
- CAD-import，满足所有主要档案格式

- COMSOL Script-建模专用的计算语言
新产品COMSOL Script的推出，呈现数值模拟更广大的视野，不但紧密地整合COMSOL Multiphysics，又可独立成为一个模组。透过指令列介面、程式编译能力及500个数值计算及视算指令，COMSOL Script 独自掌控所有计算工作。当执行COMSOL Multiphysics 时，这个新语言可以允许从指令列建模，使用者可以使用所有建模功能或可从COMSOL Multiphysics GUI呼叫COMSOL Script的函数来定义模型。他们也可以由使用者图形介面完成的工作存成M-file并交由COMSOL Script 中来执行这个text-based档案。藉由script的工作，使用者可以反覆做参数研究及对任何模型做探索及最佳化。再者, COMSOL Script的绘图及视化能力设计的标準及一系列的GUI工具，允许使用者快速建构使用者图形介面。

Version 3.5 - Most Efficient COMSOL Ever
Benchmark tests show that v3.5 is over 3 times more efficient for large models
of flow when compared to v3.4. Furthermore, the new Generalized-a solver makes
time-dependent structural mechanics, electromagnetic, acoustics, and fluid-flow
simulations more efficient.
The segregated solver, now available for time-dependent simulations, cuts
memory usage for solving common multiphysics problems, such as Joule heating,
by as much as 50%. A new out-of-core solver utilizes disk memory for
simulating large problems on 32-bit and 64-bit computers.
