这次的更新变化量很大，首先域名从http://del.icio.us变到了http://delicious.com/

其次是非常明显的界面变化，原先的del.icio.us页面风格给我的感觉很像是那种原始的不加修饰的校园bbs，而现在风格依旧保持极其简单，但是看起来却舒服很多。没有了刺眼纯蓝色，简单色块修饰之后页面也显得更有调理和层次感。




每个页面的醒目位置的图标标识了功能，而这种单形的图标数量着实不少：

Several major feature updates:

    * WindowBlinds Layer Support.  
The WindowBlinds layer system allows a skin author to provide multiple layers for a given section of a skin.  This also includes layer support for per-pixel borders and glyphs.  This opens up a whole new level of creativity for skinners.


    * Skin Color Feature.  
This feature allows Pro users to recolor a skin, or a specific sub-style by using the HSL sliders that is similar to coloring skins in WindowBlinds.  This will make it even easier to create sub-styles of varying colors.


    * Animated "Please Wait" Support.  
The Please Wait screen has always been a static image, now it's possible to create an animation that can be seen while the Wait screen appears.


    * NWA File Support.  
NWA files are a way to reduce the size of animations that are used in WindowBlinds skins.  These can be used on Start Menu and "Please Wait" animations and can help save considerable memory and hard drive space.  SKS 6.2 also includes a tool to create NWA files from vertical .png/.tga image strips.

昨晚见到TSF的CEO -- jeff在da上发日志说他们那里时间的晚上八点就要正式发布Hyperdesk，而今天早上到了公司高兴地发觉他们的网站已经上线。

网站做的很漂亮，很质感，沿袭了他们的一贯风格，而初登场的几个主题除了Disney那几套外都是走的华丽路线，黑酷型的。虽然等了那么久，但是一些主题还是coming soon，而目前只有一套索尼爱立信主题是免费的。价格方面，平心而论还是不算很贵，一套Dark Matter卖9.95包括了图标、壁纸、WMP皮肤、Widget和桌面主题。



下载了那套索爱主题试用之后和预料的一样，图标和皮肤在缩略图cover到的部分都很酷，但是其他细节比较糟糕。包括按钮在内的几乎所有控件都是纯色，想必是为了节省时间，一套主题直接转换一下颜色就成功变身。希望在网站步入正轨之后能有更多作者加入作出点真的能用的好主题来。

Finally Released!

After few months of design and development, I'm now very happy to announce the release of my new personal site.  It now runs as an online portfolio more than only a blog.  Considering I'm still green in web design and the purpose of the whole site is to illustrate my style in GUI design, I decided to build the whole site in simple and neat style from very beginning.  "Clean, Organized and Elegant" are the 3 keywords in web page design.

Hopefully you can like the new site as I did and if not please also give me your comments here so I can make improvements later.  The coding of the site costs me about 2 month on and off.  For CSS/DIV, I can only use basic skills, sometimes it kills me when kinds of differences between IE & FF come to me.  But overall I feel happy and great sense of achievements after building a site from stretch.
